00:20:33 darsi rueda: Probably this will get said (but after I have to drop off), but my question is: what part of this is working in Sunflower, and what will be in Trillium? 00:21:36 Maura Byrne: Reacted to "Probably this will g..." with ➕ 00:23:12 Martin Scholz: I have to drop off 00:26:20 Thomas Trutt: Reacted to "I have to drop off" with 🙏🏻 00:30:20 Thomas Trutt: Replying to "Probably this will g..." Unless im incorrect all of this work will be in Trillium. 00:30:34 Charlotte Whitt: Replying to "Probably this will g..." Yes, that is correct 00:30:58 Charlotte Whitt: Replying to "Probably this will g..." For Sunflower we primarily added a bunch of patron notice tokens 00:31:48 Charlotte Whitt: Replying to "Probably this will g..." In the jira dash board you can see the work split between Sunflower and Trillium - https://folio-org.atlassian.net/jira/dashboards/10486 00:34:35 Maura Byrne: Is there a process if a Reading Room item doesn’t get returned? 00:36:20 Charlotte Whitt: All material are RFID tagged. And if someone leaves the library without returning to the desk, then an alarm will sound. 00:36:31 Maura Byrne: Reacted to "All material are RFI..." with 👍 00:36:33 Tara Barnett (Index Data): Reacted to "All material are RFI..." with 👍 00:37:10 Maura Byrne: But there’s nothing in the circ rules for notices or fines, right? 00:37:49 Charlotte Whitt: hmm - not sure I understand. You can not bring the material out side of the library 00:38:41 Tara Barnett (Index Data): If something gets missed? (A missed check-in, or deliberate theft.) Is that what you’re asking Maura? 00:41:19 Maura Byrne: Basically, yes. We have some “building use only” circ rules, that now allow people to check them out. Circ staff can miss checking things in, or the item can go missing elsewhere in the LIbrary (sigh), or someone can try their luck stealing a book. So if it doesn’t come back by closing time, there’s a fine. 00:41:29 Thomas Trutt: The normal circ rules should pick up.. so if you have a fee/fine lost prosily those would be applied. 00:42:37 Tara Barnett (Index Data): Reacted to "The normal circ rule..." with ❤️ 00:43:08 Maura Byrne: That makes sense. Thanks. 00:45:00 Thomas Trutt: A good argument for a demerit system.. :) 00:45:10 Tara Barnett (Index Data): I think many of us in academic libraries are familiar with this problem. Lots of in-library ILL items took this path at my last place of employment. 00:45:25 Maura Byrne: Reacted to "I think many of us i..." with 🤣 00:46:07 Kate Hill: Reacted to "I think many of us i..." with 💯 00:46:12 Thomas Trutt: Still do.. 🙂 We had the same issues when laptops where in house only. We even had them tattle taped in like 5 places, patrons would peal them off to sneak them out to class. 00:46:31 Maura Byrne: Reacted to "Still do.. 🙂 We had..." with ➕ 00:46:38 Kate Hill: We once had a skeletal model go missing from in house use, I still don't know how that happened (we never found it) 00:46:41 Tara Barnett (Index Data): Replying to "Still do.. 🙂 We had..." I like when they peel off the barcodes and miss the tattle tape. 00:47:06 Tara Barnett (Index Data): Reacted to "We once had a skelet..." with 👻 00:47:07 Maura Byrne: Reacted to "We once had a skelet..." with 🤯 00:47:42 Thomas Trutt: Replying to "We once had a skelet..." Its probably in some frat on campus, holding a red solo cup.. LOL 00:47:50 Maura Byrne: Replying to "Still do.. 🙂 We had..." Had that happen when my library had a Playboy subscription… 00:48:06 Maura Byrne: Reacted to "Its probably in some..." with 🤣 00:48:19 Kate Hill: 100% 00:48:28 Tara Barnett (Index Data): Lots of folks I work with are excited. 00:48:29 Maura Byrne: Thank you, Charlotte and Kajsa. Well done. 00:48:56 Charlotte Whitt: Reacted to "Thank you, Charlotte..." with 🌸
