It was original GA date 9/27/2025 and now it is GA date: 11/10/2025 00:36:59 Kristin Martin: "confident" is the word in the requirement 00:37:06 Huff, Jeremy T: Reacted to ""confident" is the w..." with 👍 00:37:28 Lucy (GALILEO): I agree that extending support for Ramsons Okapit is a better solution than delaying releases for Sunflower and Trillium. 00:37:46 Charlotte Whitt: Reacted to "I agree that extendi..." with 💯 00:38:25 Jesse Koennecke (he/him): Reacted to "I agree that extendi..." with 💯 00:38:48 Jennifer Eustis: Reacted to "I agree that extendi..." with 💯 00:39:10 Pampell, Stephen M: Reacted to ""confident" is the w..." with 👍 00:43:48 Jenn Colt: Cornell has an instance on ramsons eureka but it is one of our test instances 00:43:58 Huff, Jeremy T: Reacted to "Cornell has an insta..." with 👍 00:45:22 hkaplanian: Reacted to "I agree that extendi..." with 💯 00:47:25 Kristin Martin: Sorry Shelley! 00:48:02 Shelley Doljack: No worries, I’m glad to hear this discussion too. 00:48:13 Charlotte Whitt: Reacted to "No worries, I’m glad..." with 💯 00:49:41 Jenn Colt: Is there TC rep on the CD group? 00:50:17 Jesse Koennecke (he/him): Reacted to "Cornell has an insta..." with 👍 00:50:19 Charlotte Whitt: The CDD group right now is: Jeremy, Martin Scholz, Lisa McColl and Charlotte Whitt 00:50:35 Jenn Colt: Thanks, I can put on TC agenda to solicit a volunteer 00:56:14 Charlotte Whitt: Upholding Trillium would be very disturbing 00:59:24 Tod Olson: Must drop early. Thank you for the update and discussion, this has been excellent and I like where we seem to be coming out. 01:00:35 Mike Gorrell: That was going to be my point too 01:01:28 Pampell, Stephen M: The RMS’s authority comes from the PC charter which states: “Work with the Technical and Community Councils to develop an overall release plan for each version of FOLIO." 01:01:41 Pampell, Stephen M: It cannot operate independently. 01:01:57 Mike Gorrell: Reacted to "It cannot operate in..." with 💯 01:02:00 Boaz Nadav Manes (Lehigh): Is there a charter for RMSS? 01:02:03 Charlotte Whitt: Reacted to "It cannot operate in..." with 💯 01:02:24 Pampell, Stephen M: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/COMMUNITY/pages/4231779/FOLIO+Governance+Model#Product-Council 01:02:28 Mark Veksler: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PC/pages/4883623/FOLIO+Release+Management+Stakeholders 01:03:09 Boaz Nadav Manes (Lehigh): Reacted to "https://folio-org.at..." with 👍 01:03:14 Pampell, Stephen M: The RMS would fall into the “working group” category, which (again) are governed by their chartering council. Councils may charter working groups: Special Interest Groups (SIGs), task forces, advisory groups, or other teams related to the functions of the appropriate Council. When doing so they must: Coordinate the work of such working groups Establish communication pathways that ensure open and transparent operation of the working groups. Ensure new working group members have an understanding of the FOLIO Way Revise charters, membership, and accountability as needed Disband as appropriate 01:04:08 Mark Veksler: thank you! i need to drop for another call. 01:04:19 Kristin Martin: Here is the charter for RMS: The RMS defines FOLIO release schedules for named FOLIO releases as well as service packs that incorporate functionality specify and development milestones as specified by the development teams. The RMS announces the schedule and any changes to the FOLIO community, provides updates on development staffing changes and release status to the PC, TC, and CC. The release schedules are available on the wiki under Archived Release Readiness Checklist VngY. The RMS makes determination for the release of a Critical Service Patch, using the process described here.
